K-industrial Services Pte Ltd  was established as the holding company for MBO of its subsidiary ISI Asia Pte Ltd,  which was a wholly owned subsidiary of Kobe Steel  Ltd,  set up to serve the end-users in the South-east Asia region for plants built and machines supplied by the parent company.  At the same time,  the company was also appointed as the procurement center in the Pacific region,  helping the parent company as well as end user for competitive sourcing.
